About Us

Details
We are a friendly garden club, with no catchment area, who would make you very welcome should you be considering joining/visiting us.
We meet in St Nicholas Church Hall, Poplar Grove, Allington, on the first Thursday in the month from February to December, excluding May.

The first Thursday in May we arrange a visit for members by their own cars to either a Garden Centre or an Open Garden from 14:00~16:00.

At our evening meeting we always arrange a speaker, talking to us on a gardening theme, the exceptions being August and December.
In August we hold a Members' competition evening and in December a Social Evening.

At our August Competition Evening there are 9 exhibit categories for members' to choose from and 9 trophies to be won.
Voting for the categories takes place by all members attending the evening.

Membership
Annual membership is £13.00 per person / Visitors £3.00 per person per session

Benefits
At every meeting we hold a raffle, bring and buy plant table and refreshments of tea, coffee & biscuits ar 30p.
Every year we arrange two Saturday coach outings and this year they are to Leonardslee, West Sussex in May and RHS Wisley in July.
