About Us

Details
We are a friendly Society with around 100 enthusiastic members and we welcome everyone, whether they are new to gardening or have many years of experience.

If you are starting gardening and wish to learn, we have plenty of people who would be very pleased to help you.
If you are an experienced gardener, membership will provide you with opportunities to share your knowledge with those with less knowledge and experience.
Whatever your level of skills, hopefully you will learn something new through our programme of talks and visits.

Our aim is to enjoy all aspects of gardening and we organise a full programme of activities to choose from throughout the year.
These include talks, shows and coach outing visits to gardens of interest.

Why not come along to one of our talks or shows to meet us and discover what our Society has to offer?
Our shows are open for entries by non-members. Please contact our Show Secretary by e-mail: chrisg.mhs@gmail.com for further information.

We are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, the Kent Federation of Horticultural Societies, the South Eastern Daffodil Society and the National Vegetable Society.
