About Us

We are a Society of some 120 members and all are dedicated, enthusiastic, garden and gardening lovers.
The Society comprises both a Gardeners and a Flower Arrangers group. The two groups attend separate meetings, which are held on different dates as detailed above.
The meetings alternate between garden lectures and flower arranging and usually run for approximately two hours.
The flower arrangers’ evenings alternate between members' practical evenings and demonstrations by NAFAS and member demonstrators,
with a special Christmas demonstration held in November.
Our programme provides a scintillating mix of ideas, creativity in the garden and also an insight into flower arranging.
A small entrance fee is charged at each event and Tea / Coffee and biscuits are included.

We have a thriving, friendly membership and visitors are welcome to attend our meetings.
Admission fees:
Meetings: Members £2.00, Visitors £4.00.
Flower Arrangers Demonstrations: Members £3.00, Visitors £5.00.

We endeavour to ensure our Society is very sociable and good value.
Attractive destinations are carefully selected for our popular outings to gardens of interest during the year in the south east area including Kent, Essex and Sussex.
We organise and present a wide range of interesting speakers.
